Who hates to go shopping. I'll do just about anything to get out of it, but it hasn't been avoidable lately.

My back and feet hurt now. Yeah partly because I wore *cute* shoes and not ones meant for shopping.

I don't like shopping in Metropolitan areas...HATE the crowds.

But little shops and out of the way mom and pop stores are awesome.

S.

Depends on the day. If I feel agressive and quick minded I have a great time. A few great sales never hurt, either.

If I feel moody or bothered I hate every second of it. In this kind of mood I want to elbow everyone in my way and sit down and take a nap while my friends shop around.

To be a Professional shopper you're supposed to wear sneakers when shopping all day long.

I hate it, but I went shopping with mom today for just a few hours and we had a BLAST! For some odd reason the stores weren't crowded or anything.

Although I did run into a girl from high school at one store. I really didn't like her then. I tried not to let that color my impression of her now, but uh...*shrug*

On the plus side, I'm wearing my new hot-pink jammies with the puppies on them. And I bought so much stuff that I have to get more hangers tomorrow. *beams*

Hello kitty pie :)

I love to shop, I could do it all day.

I *do* wear sensible shoes, though.

Hello ya Foxy thang, feeling better today?

Rarely do I enjoy it.

Unless its shoe shopping, then I'm all there. lol

I knew when I left this morning that I should have slipped on tennis shoes and ignored the cute black boots.. but I'm vain that way.

Well Nora I have to confess that I did get some goodies and I'm eager to wear them. lol

But I always forget something and I dread having to go back again.

Did I mention I had to take my son and mother on this trip? That might have something to do with how much I hate shopping. My son kept begging me for this and that, we did come home with a Sponge Bob bath sponge.. I'm going to taunt BrokenBrainWave with it come Monday. :D

No Heavy, just three inch heeled boots.

So Hk!! Get to the good part! What did you get!!??

Four lovely tops.

An eeyore shirt and watch - I love eeyore. :D

A pair of tight black pants.

No shoes this time though. :(

What else did you get besides your cute jammies?

oh nice haul! Eeyore ROCKS! You know that here in Austin we celebrate Eeyore's birthday every year? Lemme find a link...grr. They don't have anything for this year's party up yet. Eeyore's Birthday Party

I raked in the loot. Mom bought most of it, which was TOTALLY cool. And the only reason there's so much is cuz we found some incredible bargains! Ok, I must comment on each item cuz I'm madly and passionately in clothes-love with each and every item...

(men, do not read further or your eyes will glaze over and your brains will rupture)

a pair of the CUTEST dressy black pants...they're a black-on-black stripe with a satin pinstripe down the sides... I'm going to hem them with a cuff so they look even more "manclothes" style.

a pair of grey plaid-sorta man-style trousers (again for work)

a pair of dark brown jeans that BEYOND rock

a pair of blue jeans that ROCK

a pair of khaki jeans that are ok lol

a black knit ankle length slim-skirt

a long, slitted denim slim-skirt

oh, this odd sweater/knit pants set thingy...I can't describe it, but mom loved it and the pants are COOL. The price would have been worth it for the pants alone. They're brown, btw.

an oatmeal colored chenille sweater/jacket. I love this. It's sooo soft!

a purple, heavy-cableknit sweater/jacket thingy. I love it. it's FABULOUS.

and the jammies. =) Which I put on as soon as I got home!

I'm a man; therefore, I hate shopping unless it's for boats, cars and tools.:p

Mona, please tell me that av is really YOU!

k.. I believe I need to rethink that visit that a friend of mine keeps offering to me, to Texas. He's about 40 minutes or so from Austin by helo - which he flies.

Wow you did make out good! Your more of an earthtone lover I see. I buy darker colors and spruce them up with something softer and brighter.. with my coloring I have to.

I forgot to mention that I picked up a cute gray zipped sweater to wear over one of the shirts - baby pink.

The eeyore shirt says, I have Issues.... *giggle*

Do you try on everything before you buy? Just curious if I'm the only oddball there as well.. I have a good idea of what I can and can not wear, what does and what will not look good on me, so I never try anything on. I know that I can always take it back later if it turns out that I hate it.

So far I only have one dress and its to dressy for most places around here, but I got such a deal on it I couldn't pass it by. So I need to go shopping again in a week or two and pick up some skirts and those heels.

I'm a guy and I hate shopping enough as it is already.

But if I'm shopping with a woman (a certain woman), I'd rather have a root canal. What's up with hitting every shoe store in the mall and trying on every friggin shoe??? aaaahhhhhhh!!!!

And to top it off, she doesn't buy any shoes!!!!! Someone just shoot me now!!!

Wait, the only time I like to go shopping is for electronics gadgets and at the local friendly neighborhood porn shop.

Would you wear fuck me pumps? :)

Sugar I use to have 30 pairs of fuck me heels.

So whadda think?

At least three inch heels, up to five. I'm short ya'know.

btw Nora when I get jammies I always have to come home and put those right on. lol

*most* of the time I try stuff on. There's a few occassions where I don't need to, but it's rare.

Everything I bought today is work clothes. It's a pretty casual place and everything I have is more business oriented. I only had one pair of jeans I could wear to work, hence all the trousers!

I shouldn't have bought the black pinstripe pants. I'll never wear them. Probably. But the damned things were on clearance for $7. How could I NOT???

My mom's been trying to put me in ANY color other than grey, black or brown for years. I just won't do it. Oh, except the occassional heathery-purple or moss-green. *grins*

This, btw, is the first time I've bought anything other than a single, required item of clothing in about 3 years. It felt SO good!

I never try on every shoe. I know what my tastes are and I'm pretty picky. Won't even bother to take it off the shelf if they don't meet my standards or needs. Nor would I take a man shoe shopping or for that matter any type of shopping with me. Eww that's just asking for irritation. lol

Love shopping for the electronics and well um the toy store.

Well cool Nora! I'm glad that you were able to get to today, you deserve it. And those new clothes will give you an added boost of confidence on your first day at work. :)

Everyone's still broke and trying to recover from Christmas.

Although I did run into a girl from high school at one store. I really didn't like her then. I tried not to let that color my impression of her now, but uh...*shrug*

I hate when that happens.

I am so jealous.

Sorry SexyGuy2, it's not.

I'm with you about shoe shopping. Half the ones on the shelf are just ugly. The other half are impractical.

And yeah, I've been trying to decide what to wear my first day back. I'm leaning towards the black skirt with this grey knit shirt with the purple sweater over it. I think it's modest with the appropriate "ha-ha! told you I'd be back!" bite to it. *grins*

Edited to add: Mona, it was INCREDIBLE! and all of that came to under $200, of which I only paid for a quarter of it! *does happy dance of consumer joy*
