Thanks, me too. I'll be hitting the pavement again today and walkin' at the Y. I've decided that any job will do right now. I just need finances to change my current situation. So I'm not limiting my applications to just restaurants.

How old are your kids? I'm not cut out for factory work either, so I do know I won't be applying at those employment places. I'd like Restaurant, but I'd be willing to do Hotel, Banking, even yes... retail (I'd just rather it not be Wal-Mart - which I know I can get hired into - their turn over rate sucks, so they are always hiring.)

They're 9, 6, and 5........I think I might go to the nearest restaurant and apply.....it's been years since I've done any waitressing but I'm not sure I can keep doing this

I've never waitressed. All my restaurant experience was in the kitchen or on the prep line. I didn't mind it. Rather enjoyed it. I never thought I'd be good at waitressing, not because of the people, but because I'm rather clumsy. I'd drop my tray.

The last time I waitressed was over 10 yrs ago......things have changed alot but I don't know...........
