*hugs for you too* Yesterday was excellent. I went fishing. I caught 3 large mouth bass, 1 mudbass, and 1 8lb turtle.
The spouse caught 2 large mouth bass and 1 crappie. Everything was keepin' size or better, so we kept them all. It was an excellent day. Yep we kept the turtle, too. Took him to my parents so my dad could help my spouse clean it (since he'd never cleaned it before).

Sounds like fun. I used to go fishing with my dad when he was not with my mom, but I had to have him bait the hook and take off the fish for me, lol. I enjoyed it though.RedHairedandFriendly said:

I used to fish often but don't fish at all now. When I did, sometimes I fished without bait because I really just wanted to get away from the routine of everyday and didn't want to be bothered with actually dealing with fish.

I used to do it all the time before I was married and had kids. Now that the kids are old enough to stay at home and watch their brother, I get to go a bit more often. Not as much as I'd like, but that's okay. I enjoy it when I get to go, either catching fish or not.Skip1934a said:
