Smiling is good, does both good for body and mind. Hehe, new underclothes is always good. My yesterday was pretty good, today not so cause I gotta go to work, lol. Hope today is as good for you as yesterday was. :)

Still don't have it. . . can't get someone to order it for us in a reasonable timely manner and at a fair price. We'll see what transpires over the next few days.

Morning all.

I'm down 141lbs as of this morning. Weighing in *drum roll* at 262 lbs.

Goals...

1. Weigh as much as hubby (he's 232). ;)
2. Lose eldest daughter's weight (178 lbs) :D
3. Weigh 200 lbs (making a loss of 203 lbs).

I'm wearing size 9 panties. w00t! This is a big deal! Panties and slacks for ladies don't run in the same size numbers. So if a girl wears a size 20 pants, her panties will be sized smaller. At the beginning of this journey, I was wearing size 26/28 pants (knit slacks or sweats) - I wouldn't even try jeans. :( My panties were size 14.

Now I'm in 18/20 pants, 20/22 jeans (depending on manufacturer and cut), 16/18 to 18/20 shirts (again manufacturer and cut), and size 9 panties!!! w00t!!! :nana:

My rings need resized. Bracelets and watches don't need extensions. :D I have collarbones and ribs. I can feel my pelvis bones and I can find other bones too. My fingers wrap around my wrists and they touch! :D

I can't wait to get the staples and drain out, so I can try on my new bathing suit again (the one my daughter had me buy, but I couldn't fit at the time... well... I want to try again.) :D

ETA: Holy crap! I'm sitting here and feel ass bones! :nana:

Hello lovely. :D

Do you know that now that I had the reconstructive surgery, because of the skin infection, my belly button has been relocated. lol... It is much lower than it was. It's now only about a belt's width from my pubic line. I don't know how odd this looks, since I can't really look at myself reflectively with these staples in.

I thought about getting a little tattoo sometime (after the weight loss) and I wanted it right above the pubic line, but now my belly button may be in the way. LOL

Lol about the Belly button...and congratulations about the weight hun! You're doing wonderfully!

LOL... who knows. That is what makes it fun. ;)

New topic of conversation...

I was talking to Wyld in the other thread we frequent (she stalks me ya know... but that is okay, the stalking is mutual) :D .... anywho... my question was, Why do we do things we know aren't good for us?

In my case (today) it is medical.

I have to take vitamins every day. Not just one or two, but seven and one day a week I have to take nine. Do I get them all in every day, no. *sigh* Honestly I haven't been taking them at all since I got home from the hospital. I know I need to, so why don't I just do it. (I took some of them a bit ago).

But why do we do this? We know or at least in my case I know I have to have those pills. Why do I balk at it? *sigh* Why do we balk at what we know we have to do. I know it is because we don't like it, but this is our health. Why am I stubborn about this? Why won't my mind remind me to take them? I start out in the morning telling myself I am going to take my pills, then my day starts and I forget, till it is bedtime.
