Supporting Red...

*pounces Red*
Just trying to do a quick check of everything before the appointment...I should be on more later :)

It went well...how bout you? How're you doing tonight? We're s'posed to be here for you remember? ;)

*chuckles* Kids, you have to love them. . .right? It's a rule? Right? ;)

Yesterday I am pumping gas into the Truck. I am minding my own business, wearing a skirt on a windy day, holding the skirt down with one hand, holding the gas pump with the other. I'm the only one outside at the pumps and a semi-truck pulls out of the restaurant across the road, just a few yards away and I hear this low, but definite admiring whistle. You know the kind. . .the ones that make a girl that hasn't been whistled at in over 14 years or so, blush and smile. :)

I pay for my gas and I'm all smiles, get back in the truck and tell the kids, "Someone whistled at me."

My daughters giggled and laughed. My son chuckles and says. . ."I bet you just whistled at yourself, mom."

My jaw dropped and I asked him, "What did you say?!" I couldn't believe my son (8 years) said that. It was like. . .he thought I would get into the truck and fib about being whistled at!!!! LOL

I told him that was like saying... "Your mom is so ugly, she's got to whistle at herself to look good!"

*shakes head* He grinned and blushed, then said, "Well, I mean I don't know if someone whistled mom. We weren't there. You could be pretending."

 PRETENDING!!!! LOL

I love my son. . .

Thanks. :) I'll take all the whistles you can toss at me. I'm not one of those ladies that get offended by being whistled at, now verbal "cat" calling does annoy me. A whistle is sweet and I think enjoyable, the "Hey baby, you're looking fiiiiiiiine...." is a tad bit annoying. Be subtle is my feelings on it. :D

Any man/cat making a "cat call" at me is not going to get a RedHairedandFriendly smile.
:( I'll try to behave myself and keep my cat sounds to a minimum

Hi there! I wanted to let you know I have enjoyed reading your stories!!!

While we have never met, following your thread here I wanted to say, I am so proud of you!!! I have had several friends go through the same surgery and are successful, as you have been. Keep up the good work, lady! :rose:

Thank you so very much. :D :rose:

I am glad to know you enjoy my work and equally appreciative for the support. It's been a fun and at times frustrating ride, but I am looking forward to more changes.

Tomorrow is my Friday weigh in day. :) I hope to reach 100 lbs and maybe, if I am lucky slide under 300. :D

I've been so blessed, not only with the folks here, but with my health in general. No real food issues, except some dumping when I first introduced solids, and learned what that "full" feeling was like. Learned that real quick. ;)

I tolerate eggs better than I did, and chicken, but not plain chicken. It has to be covered in something. . .ranch or Italian dressings or some type of sauce. But to just have plan, then it doesn't sit well. Shrimp can also be an issue, but not as bad as it used to be.

I had a hard time with Protein, especially shakes, but when I got the okay to eat protein bars and then found out about Biotin (which NOone told me about before) I was able to get my Protein in.

I'm off my blood pressure meds, breathe easier, no more sleep apnea, walk easier, and just feel so more confident in myself as well as in my physical appearance. :D

I know I'll have to have the "Red's Nip, Tuck, and Realignment" fund for skin issues, but I'll deal with them as time rolls by too. I figure, arms, tummy, and thighs, so far, my neck, and breasts are doing okay. *grins*

Good morning to you PJ and cc. :)  :)

I hope you both have wonderful weekends. :) Weigh-in is today. . . will do it later on this morning or this evening. . .It's still a gut wrenching moment getting on those scales, even if the prior weeks have been wonderful. :)

I am never disappointed to loose. :) It is the gaining I don't want. ;) Even with this surgery folks can gain here and there. I figure I'll have to deal with that eventually, hopefully though, not too soon. :D
