Grins. . .

Friday morning update. :D

Down 2 more. :D 88lbs altogether. :D The most recent things I've noticed. . .

My In-laws have a set of chairs for the dining room table. They have arms on them and they are narrow. I sat down in one of them this weekend, something I never was able to do before! NEVER! If I even tried I couldn't get myself into those chairs. I can now! That was soooooo cool.

The ring my hubby bought me for Valentine's Day and we had sized for me, is actually too big and I'll have to get it resized again. :D As I will for my wedding band and engagement ring.

I feel so different about myself. I feel sexier. I am buying skimpier lingerie, smaller panties, garter belts and thigh high stockings! I even bought a corset! (Someday I may get brave enough to stuff my boobs in it long enough for an AV pic) . . .lol (I still think my boobs are too big).

Regrets?

Heck no! This was the best thing for me. It may not be for everyone. There are serious and I do mean serious risks for everyone and not everyone has a good experience from it. . .But I am so glad I did this for myself.

In April, we are heading to South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky for visiting relatives, meeting a Litster, and going Caving. I can't wait to hit the caves. Last time I was so out of shape I didn't do as much as I would have liked to.

In August, we are heading to Yellowstone. By then I should be even healthier! Move even easier! Feel even sexier! I am so excited!!

I've never posted my largest weight here, but have given folks plenty of numbers to work with. But I'll post it today. A week before the surgery I weighed in at 403lbs. *nods head* Yes, 403lbs. :( That was hard for me to see. All my life I swore I'd never see 200, then I did. I swore I'd never see 300, then I did. I swore never to see 400. . .then I did.

The morning of surgery I lay on the operating table and for a split second I thought. . ."Get up off this table and leave. Tell them you can't do this. Tell them you've changed your mind." Then immediately I thought. "Relax. You'll be okay and if not. . .you're never going to know." (I know, a morbid thought, but it relaxed me.)

Right now I am 315lbs. 12 away from gaining 20 years of my life back. 16 away from getting under that 300lb mark. 31 away from reaching the weight it says on my Driver's License. These are my next mini-goals.

Thanks so much everyone for your support, because you guys are such a big part of my stay-at-home-mom life, that I knew a long time ago, this was not something I could do on my own. I would and will always need support from my online friends.

Thanks crvy. :) :rose: I wouldn't have felt so comfortable sharing all this with folks if my friendships here on Lit didn't mean so much to me. :rose:

Busy lil bee then......You write with such flair and ease, I don't see how you do it :rose: ....Nice to see you too hun:)

My neighbor had the surgery about 11 mths ago. She stopped by to Sunday night after finding out from the grocery store clerk that I had it. (Yep. . .small town). She invited me to a "Support Group" at a church about 15 min. from here, so I went to that last night.

It was nice and very small. One man and four other women besides myself. All of them are either almost a year out or three years out. The were friendly and I felt comfortable with them.

My neighbor as I mentioned is 11 mths post op. She's lost 184 lbs! She's got 40/50 to go to be at goal, and is struggling with it. I've heard that once you get just 50 or so pounds away from your goal, people really struggle. It becomes similar to "dieting" and really watching what you eat.

I still look forward to reaching that "almost" to goal point. :) :D
