Today's discovery of mine.

According to geneticists, Neanderthals and modern humans mixed many times. However, it was very one-sided: Neanderthal males often mated with modern-type women but Neanderthal woman almost never mated with modern-type men.

Interesting why it happened this way. One is obvious, though: Neanderthal men liked modern-type women. And probably were liked by them.

I wonder how such story could be categorized. Both groups are humans so definitely not bestiality. However, the difference between Homo sapiens sapiens and Homo sapiens neanderthalensis was much bigger than between modern human races so putting it under 'Interracial' would be very weak.

Excellent, I counted 4 which is pretty good by itself for 19yrs.

I suspect that non-fiction accounts of these ‘matings’ would be classified under nonconsent much more than erotic couplings. Neanderthals were notably stronger than modern humans. Neanderthal males could easily overpower modern females, and modern males might face a beat down from Neanderthal women if they got aggressive.

Jane Auel wrote some very successful fantasy novels about this years ago— The Clan of the Cave Bear, etc. that contained episodes concerning the Neandertals’ cock size that bordered on soft porn (or at least by the standards of the 70s, they did— I guess by today's standards they'd be seen as pretty mainstream.)

Actually, I find it very natural that in the primitive society some females liked a stronger man and not this modern-type sissy while males liked more delicate and graceful modern-type females.

Though this all may be my racial stereotypes about poor Neanderthals. (if I had a time machine, I'd definitely go and take a look at them).
