Its been ok.....nice compared to the rest of the week. I went to a workshop this morning, then spent some time with mom and dad today. Feel like I could curl up and take a nap now, though....kind of zapped. How has your weekend been so far?

It's not that bad. Got home about an hour a go, from a church chicken/noodle fund raiser dinner. Good stuff those ladies of the church fixed. I wished that I had that old football size stomach back. lol. . . I enjoyed the noodles with mashed potatoes, and 1/4 slice of pineapple upsidedown cake. Then bought a couple bags of noodles and an angel food cake the ladies of the church made with the whites of the eggs they used for the noodles.

Just ordered the accompaniment music to a song my mom wants me to sing at church for her 40th Wedding Anniversary.

All in all a good day. Son was a bit disappointed that it was too cloudy here to see the Lunar Eclipse.

Sounds like a nice day. Yeah....I would have loved to see th eclipse...too cloudy here, too. I have a bit of obsession with the moon.

The moon is cool. I would love to go to it, without the help of Ralph Kraden ( I believe that was his name ) The actor who kept threatening to send his wife to the moon, shaking his fist at her and scrunching up his face.

It was a nice day. I got to chat this morning with a friend and it just went up from there. I hope the evening produces the same effect.

Ohhhh I am so glad I can enjoy a tiny bite or two of chocolate cake.

I'll admit when I was first going into this surgery I wanted to be the person that threw up if they ate anything sweet, fearful I would fall back on eating just sweets...

I'm not though. I can tolerate all sugary things so far and soda. But I have been a good girl since discovering this. The soda's are diet. The sweets are tiny and I savor them, eating them very slowly, so I fill up and the idea of eating more of them makes me go *ewww*....

I am glad I am not the person I thought I wanted to be, because I really do like cake.

This morning I picked up those jeans... you know real jeans, the kind that zip and button, not the kind that have elastic waist band... but those jeans that I pulled out of my closet months ago and tried on every couple weeks, never being able to get them over my thighs, then getting them up to my waist, but not getting them to even close to buttoning... THEN this morning I chewed on my lip and thought. . .why not try again.

I am wearing them. w00t!!!!! They are buttoned!!! They are zipped!!!! I can breathe!!!!! I can move!!!! I am HAPPY.
