BREAKING: A Boulder police officer was killed in the Colorado grocery store
shooting, two officers told BuzzFeed News.

Another "well regulated militia" gettin' in some live-fire target practice.

That press conference left something to be desired.

We have a suspect in custody. There's no longer any threat to the public.
How many shooters were there?
We don't know.
Well...wait, what?

Kevin Daly, owner of Under the Sun Eatery and Pizzeria Restaurant a block or so
from the supermarket, said he was in his shop when he saw police cars arriving and
shoppers running from the grocery store. He said he took in several people to keep
them warm, and others boarded a bus provided by Boulder police and were taken away.

The Boulder Police Department hasn't confirmed the information livestreamed
by Dean Schiller of ZFG Videography. But a press conference has been scheduled
for 5:55 p.m. today, March 22.

"We need 911 here now. We're at King Soopers in south Boulder. Table Mesa.
We've got injured parties on the ground. 911 now, people. We don't know if there's
a shooter, active shooter somewhere."

At the front entrance of the King Soopers, an employee is on his phone.
Schiller asks, "Could he be in the store?"

"Yeah, he went in there," the employee replies.

"He went in the store?" Schiller wants to know.

"There's one down right there," the worker replies and points to another body,
this one in the store.

"Oh, my God," Schiller says. "We've got people down inside King Soopers.
Look, there's...."

At that point, a gunshot can be heard. "Holy shit," Schiller responds.
"Goddamn it. I'm fucking getting away, guys."

Schiller kept his video rolling. Meanwhile, other media organizations arrived and
captured footage of a man wearing only shorts being led away from the scene by
police; he had an apparent wound on his leg.

Good news for crazy shooters: Colorado is an open-carry state. So, you can be standing at a grocery store checkout line and watch a guy walking toward you across the parking lot, carrying a gun, and you have no idea if he is shopping or coming to kill you. What a great aspect of life in the United States and of the attitudes of a good many of our citizens.

Who-the-fuck attacks a National Guard convoy ?

National Guard convoys are a frequently seen sight, and are friendly.
Everyone waves to the soldiers, because they take part in helping people
involving many emergencies and disasters.

This fucker, and his gun -

An Arizona man was arrested after police say he corraled a convoy of National Guardsmen
transporting COVID-19 vaccines to Matador, Texas, on Monday morning.

According to WAFB, Harris was charged with "aggravated assault with a deadly weapon,
unlawful restraint of 11 National Guard Soldiers, unlawful carrying of a weapon
impersonating a Public Servant, and interference with Texas Military Forces."

“Harris appeared to be mentally disturbed. This was a very dangerous situation
since the suspect was standing in the midst of the unarmed Guardsman with a
loaded weapon,” the statement said. No injuries were reported. Harris was locked
up in the Lubbock County Detention Center.

Of all sites to cover this story, Salon stepped up -

Larry Harris, a 66-year-old man from Wilcox, Arizona, was armed when he tailed
three National Guard vehicles from a gas station in Lubbock to approximately two
miles east of Idalou, authorities said, according to WAFB9. Idalou Police said that
Harris made multiple attempts to run the caravan off the road, at times veering into
oncoming traffic. Once the vans stopped, he pointed a gun at one unarmed Guardsman
and demanded to search all of the vehicles, insisting that he was a detective.
The Guardsmen eventually filed out of their vehicles.

Report: AR 15-style rifle.

I like how important a weapon looks is to the people who don't know shit about guns.

That's why you carry your own.

Yes, that's what you crazy gun nuts always say. Nothing much comes of it, though, except your toddlers shooting themselves because you're too stupid to take care of a gun.

That dog don't bark, asshole.

It's a sad turning point.. One of the few benefits to the covid era was the lack of mass shootings.

I'm sure all those kids murdered in school wish they also had guns.

Private school with armed security FTW.

Worked for me, works for thousands of people every year, works for cops and the military.

My toddlers are now tweens, they both shoot regularly.

Double fail....the hounds are a ballin' bubba!! :D
