superman is dead.

The coolest dude in blue tights then the coolest guy on wheels, I was hoping I'd see him walk.

He's walking somewhere today, and running like the wind

Go Superman

How are they going to handle this on Smallville? (Coincidentally, Margot Kidder was on this season.)

This was a tough one for me to hear.:(

Throughout my years, I came across Christopher Reeve several times.

Saw him onstage (off-Broadway) in Lanford Wilson's "Fifth of July" (eerily, he played a crippled man).

Spotted him in the aisle in front of me in a Broadway theatre (right after the first SUPERMAN movie was released!).

Saw him again (after his accident) at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He was in the audience watching "The Royal Family", and he met the cast afterwards (it was a play he appeared in years earlier at the Playhouse there.

Truly an inspirational man who left us far too early!

There's an upcoming cable movie he directed scheduled to appear on A&E later this month.:rose:

The news site Chinaview <news.xinhuanet.com> has the headline, "Superman Reeve flies to the heaven."

Anyone remember him in "Noises Off"? He had a great comic touch.
