On a side note, Irish politics is such a shit show at the moment. Our government is led by a right-wing party in coalition with a centre-right party. However, they govern like a far-left wing party with regards to immigration. Our left-wing parties are a complete farce, they just preach morality without consideration being given to reality!

Additionally, our government is basically subservient to the Euroean Union. Our leaders do whatever Europe dictates to them and that is that!

This is fairly illustrative of the problem. It shows fairly clearly that the problem isn't that society has issues, it's that a certain segment of the people have decided to go all in against normality and stability by supporting a political scorched earth platform of being anti-everything.
