Hi guys. And the LADIES.

With Covid on our doorstep and borders closed, I'm thinking you guys must have a few thoughts on what would help your tourism industry.

Right now, rooms are cheap, and empty. I stayed again this year at the Historic San Carlos built in 1928 by Italian stone masons. We only saw one other guest when we went to the third floor pool and he chatted with me from the lanai area where he had gone for a smoke.

I wanted to stay at the Hotel Congress down in Tucson but they are closed.

I may take a rode trip down to the Copper Queen, down in Bisbee on the Mexican Border or the Gardner in Silver City New Mexico.

We have some historic steam engines that do tours of Northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon I haven't looked into weather there running yet or not.

National Park Campgrounds are apparently teeming with visitors so I think I would avoid that but there's plenty of places to just pull off the road, hike a mile in and camp.

A "Hunger Games" type event might work. Every state supply one competitor.

This would be HUGE

My suggestion is less tourism and more focus on where we live. If you don't like your home or community, do something to improve it, move, or accept it as is. Temporary escapes are more fossil fuel burned.
