Submission - Love involved

IMHO, I dont think that you can truly submit without falling in love, I fell in love with mine after only 3 months cause you open yourself up to extreme situations/trust. He (Your Dom/PYL)is your protector.. So I would think it would be difficult... not to love..

i so agree.... (But i won't admit how long it took me to fall in love with mine. )

As a side note, i didn't realize that i originally replied to this thread months ago when it was first posted. i REALLY hate walks down Lit-memory lane sometimes...

I dunno. I mean I've loved every one of the guys that I've played with, but I wouldn't say that I was/am in love with all of them. And I don't feel a stronger submission with one that I feel I did fall in love with, verses one I don't feel I am/was in love with. There are different kinds of love. I love the girl that I fondly call "lil sis" (even tho neither of us are in that relationship anymore and she is infact getting ready to move in with a daddy dom), but I wouldn't say I'm in love with her, nor would I say it's a romantic love, nor how I feel love towards friends or family.

Then again, I feel my submission pretty easily. It doesn't take a whole lot for me to feel some one's charge over me, and maybe that's a problem and maybe it's not, but I do know it means I need to be more careful about who I play with.
