Submission Date Changed

Anyone ever have the date on a story that they've submitted change while still showing Pending? I submitted my Summer Lovin entry yesterday, earlier today it showed that I submitted yesterday, now it shows 8/16 but the status is still pending. I have NOT clicked on the submission at all (e.g. haven't edited it, haven't even so much as clicked on it in my list of Pending works).

Sorry if this has been asked/answered, I made an attempt to go through old threads looking for an answer and didn't locate any.

Sometimes the status date changes because someone is moderating your submission. Newer writers and non-con stories are looked at a little more closely.

It happens to most stories I submit, usually within 24 hours. My guess is that when the date doesn't change, that means it was submitted before the automated daily process ran, so it reset it to the same date.

I won't say it's never happened, but I can't recall a single time the date changed after the 24 hour mark.
