Does anyone else on Lit. read Stuff magazine or Maxim? I was just wondering because it is a very hot men's magazine and I reccomend it to anyone who's "significant other" isn't a fan of such titles as "Playboy" or "Perfect 10".. another good one is FHM... British based, but of high class and quality.

I enjoy Maxim, Stuff and FHM (I read it at Borders). Maxim is a good mag for couples.

I read them all, preferring.....

Maxim but the other's are good too.

My wife loves it - as does nearly every other female I've met who have read them.

Interesting that.

I have to confess..

I use to steal my exboyfriend's Maxim and read it at home, now single I receive it every month at home. Interesting to look and read. :)

I really like Maxim and not just for the pictures - I actually read it from cover to cover!

We get Maxim, Stuff, Gear, Shift, some others I can't think of right now. Gear is run by Bob Guccione Jr. (who used to run Spin) and the writing is top-notch.

I have a subscription to Stuff and usually pick up a copy of Maxim every month at the supermarket.

I love Stuff, some of the things in there are just SO subversive...like the articles on Booby Traps, and The 100 Most Dangerous Men on Earth last issue...hehehe

I also am a big fan of their "The Powder Room" column...always nice to see what the opposite sex thinks about sexual issues...It usually confirms to me that the Ladies of Lit are as mainstream as anyone else, and not perverts...well with a few exceptions, you know who you are... :)

Havoc

I get Scarlet Street, Capre Noctem, Stuff, Maxim, Combat Handguns, Jane's Quarterly, and Science Fiction Age.

Hmm, Fantasy, Sex, Guns, and war....I detect a pattern here.

It's been defunct a couple of months. Realms Of Fantasy, its sister magazine, is still being published.

What's Jane's Quarterly? It sounds interesting. Is it, by any chance, put out by Jane's Information Group.. the same one that puts out the computer games?

HS,

Yes, same group. They have a lot of good information on military movements, who's deployed where, for what reasons etc. If you want you can look them up online at:
http://www.janes.com

I primarily subscribe for the information on terrorism and proliferation of biological and chemical weapons.
Something that scares the crap out of me.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm a huge fan of the Jane's Combat Simulations.
