Could you be a little bit more specific about what's not a good fit? The dildo you tried? (Jellies have a tendency to bend frequently and require skill to wield, as well as the fact of 'the less friction, the better *insert lube*.) The harness gets wonky? The woman behind it is a novice, test-driving her new toy on your slave?

All I can say is that it takes practice and could prove to be very awkward if the person behind it doesn't have experience. It is a bit of an unnatural motion for women but can be learned rather easily if she is instinctive. The thing that gives most women in a strap-on problems is the lack of feedback. There is virtually no way to tell if you are driving in at an uncomfortable angle, rate of speed, smoothness, etc... The best way to get this feedback is to practice under unassuming circumstances. Sounds like you have a staged encounter with expectations of positive results.

I could recommend a harness or two and some good attachments, but no matter how good your equipment is, the person wielding it needs to know what they're doing.
