Hello, I published part 2 to another story I published earlier. The first part took like two days, and I published part 2 on the 29th, which is still pending. What gives?

Other priorities - anthologies and maybe a contest,

Two days might have been lucky, but ten days is a bit of a stretch. PM Laurel, be polite.

Where do I find Laurel?
PM (envelope, top right this page) - start a new conversation with Laurel

She's the site owner and editor. Provide her with a link to your Draft. You probably won't get a response (unless she rejects your story, and then you get a "Returned" (or "Rejected") notification on your Works list), but your story status should change.

What is “too early” to send Laurel a DM about pending stories? Just so I don’t unnecessarily send anything.

2 - 5 days is fairly typical, a day or two longer if you're a newbie writer, because your story is going to screened a little tighter for content compliance.

Thanks for this - that being the case, see you all on Monday! :)

How long does it take for her to respond usually?
She probably won't. Your story will either change status (which means it will publish in a day or two), or it will be rejected, and you'll get a notification through your Control Panel).
