Story stuck in "Pending," but labeled "New"

I submitted a story recently, which spent around 48 hours in the pending tab of "my works." Suddenly, it changed from being labeled "pending" to now being "NEW," but it is still in the pending tab and it is not published on literotica. When I go in to view my story, I am sent to an editing page as though it were still a pending submission. But it is marked "NEW" and the icons for comments, ratings, views, etc are shown next to the title, although they are all at 0 as the story is not currently accessible. What the heck is going on here?

Is a date listed on the story? If so, and the date is sometime after today, that's when the story will be published.
