Hi, I am a new contributor to Literotica and submitted my first story over a week ago. It is a long story (nearly 38,000 words) and it is still marked as pending. I am unsure if I submitted it correctly. My "control panel" confirms I have successfully submitted but when I go to pending it says I have no pending stories until I click the pending box and then it comes up as "pending". I did EMail to Lit support two days ago but have had no response. I just need to know if it is in the queue. Can anybody help?

The support email doesn't work. Try sending a PM to Laurel, stating what you've said here. You probably won't get a response, but the story status should either change to New, or you'll get a rejection.

A week isn't unusual for a new account. Did you submit using the box in the submission form, or submit a file? That can make a small difference.

Welcome to Literotica.

Many thanks to both for your replies. I cut and pasted the story into the submission template and went on to review and then submission. I think I'm OK but the initial "nothing in pending" message before I click on the pending box is odd. It is a long story and it takes me over 2 hours to run through it so the delay is understandable. I will try contacting Laurel - I think a post on this thread tells me how to do that. Many thanks again for taking the trouble to respond. Best wishes.

Having the same issues here too. Been waiting since the start of the month. I've spoken to a few others. We're not the only ones.
