13 days for me o/I'm currently pending for 21 days. I get that the mods must be very over-loaded and over-worked, and they don't want everybody poking them constantly with nudges, so I've been patiently waiting. Are most others people also at the 3 week mark? Is this more or less the new normal? Just curious.
At this point it just feels silly to me. From my own experience, posting here is either a quick turnaround of one to two days, or it drags on indefinitely. I had one submission sit for three weeks before I finally pulled it down and resubmitted. I even messaged Laurel after four days, and now it’s been a full week with no update. It seems to be taking longer for stories to get approved at present. What used to be two days is now four. What used to be four days is now a week. And so on…
There are exceptions, but the above trend is based on talking to a number of people.
I’ve hardly ever had it take more than two days, and I’m into my fourth. Something going on.Scanning this thread, and others on the subject, I seem to be in
good company having been kept waiting, 27 days this morning. It's frustrating, though, to see that lots of others are still being published within a few days of submission, and not know what I've done different that is holding mine up.
So far today there are 155+ New Stories listed published the 16th, and about the same number for the 15th. So submission are being reviewed and published apace, but how many of those are were delayed as long as mine and some others have been, I can't tell.
Fifth…I’ve hardly ever had it take more than two days, and I’m into my fourth. Something going on.
Possibly.Maybe I'm being stupid by trying to be careful with grammar. Could near-flawless grammar be a red flag for AI use?

I had one sit for seven weeks before removing it and resubmitting with a note to Laurel. It has now sat in Pending for eight days and counting. From my own experience, posting here is either a quick turnaround of one to two days, or it drags on indefinitely. I have had stories posted within hours of submission. I've had others take forever.I really wish Literotica could get stories published within a day. Other sites manage it in hours.
I just wish there was at least some clear line of communication from their side. Being left in the dark is the worst part. You have no idea what’s happening, whether your story is about to be rejected, sitting ignored, or stuck in limbo. Nothing. And what makes it worse is if you decide to post elsewhere first, then try here, it’s a total gamble. It could take weeks, or get rejected outright, and then it’s over.I had one sit for seven weeks before removing it and resubmitting with a note to Laurel.
