you need to have an account at myspace

Okay, I added my post. I wonder what her fans will think when they read all the comments.

You created an account just so you could dogpile on this person?
Fer crissakes.

Her fans are all lesbians, you might notice. I think at least some of them will be pissed off at the men who diss one of their own. Since men diss dykes so often in general.

I think that a man who wrote one of the stories would be justified. Otherwise, you guys will just be changing the focus from her wrong-doing to the persecution that men do to women. Sorry guys.

That's their problem, Stella.

If they're going to protect 'one of their own' rather than concentrate on the plagiarizer's ethics it's sexism.

Which I'll also protest against.

Please don't make my head blow up.

Dykes spend, Rob, an inordinate amount of time in defensive mode.

Against men.

You can say 'it's their problem' and it most certainly is. It is our problem and it's one we face every. Fucking. day.

You can call it 'sexism' if you like. I call it a learned response. Guess who taught us that response?????

You, of all people, ought to understand the emotional fragility of persecuted and lonely people.

For shame.

I have never harmed any woman, women have harmed me. Why should i feel like i have to stand down against wrongdoing because a woman did it, and men should never chastise women?

All I am saying is that, if you want her fans to concentrate on her plagiarism,

Don't give them any side issues to think about.

Such as men visiting her blog for the first time ever

Men who tell her what a horrible person she is.

Because you don't know this woman, and have no reason to need to know her.

Because it's not about you.

Because really, the TOS violations notification to myspace and to lycos should be enough-- all the hollering is for fun, until we find out what actually happens next.

And you of all people should know how little I care about someone's sexuality and how much I care about people doing the good and wise thing.

There's a reason why 'what you resist, you become' is my favorite saying.

And she knows about your kind nature-- how?

As far as this poor dumb broad is concerned, you are just one more male who has walked uninvited into a space she thought was only of interest to a few lesbians-- to tell them what to do.

Of course she's wrong, and of course her plagiarism is utterly wrong-- but you guys are giving her a fine high horse to ride.

I saw that - LOL!

It also said she hasn't logged in since yesterday.

I don't have a blog, so I wonder if you get email alerts elsewhere when there are comments to your blog? If so, and she's already received these comments in the mail, she may never wish to log in again!

:)

Just saw this. I don't have a blog, so I don't know either.

Outed for plagiarism. One more reason to hate men.

It could be, if men go out of their way to give her the excuse for it.

Honestly-- making a brand new account just for that reason??

Hopefully, Box had a lesbian story stolen, eh?

Though honestly, my account is little used. I think most people referenced Literotica, so anybody reading the posts should make that connection regardless of sex, one hopes.

If she's going to hide behind her sexuality as an excuse for being a bloody thief, she should be stomped by every other lesbian as a bad example, not coddled as downtrodden and put upon by evil men.

Hmm, can't load Myspace blogs right now...wonder if this has anything to do with that or if it's just me.

He only says he wants to post 'an insult like everyone else'.

Many of the authors she's stolen from are men, and they have every right to stomp.

I am not saying 'coddle' I am saying that dogpiling is going to give her a brand new reason to deflect the blame. This is only common sense, and in no way a prescription for anyone's behaviour-- although, I would love to ask my friends here, please, to make a thoughtful decision about whether or not this is your fight.

I mean-- I feel that way about a LOT of internet wankery.

Wankery. Me like.

:)

I think she's dug such a huge hole, Stella, that there's no way she can justify anything. She's managed to piss off authors, probably her own blog readers and MySpace friends, violated the rules of her webmasters, MySpace and any of the sites where she appropriated work.

I think she's done.
