Well, I used to be a huge fan of AgntSmith's A Jedi's Training. Unfortunately, he has long disappeared. Being a huge fan of Star Wars, much of the appeal was the aspect of supernatural powers manifested from the Force, used for sexual purposes.

This I believe, could be exploited in many ways. Yet, there are very very few stories based on the Star Wars universe or the Force. Quite simply, i'm requesting that an author try this out. The capability of the force opens up many possibilities to authors and their imaginations.

A great deal of effort and time went into developing the "Star Wars universe" and "the Force". Such effort is known as Intellectual Property and is protected by copyright laws in every civilised country in the world.

Why are you exhorting authors here to do something which is not only illegal but also immoral?

Yes, Star Wars is protected by copyrights, but most of these stories fall under Fair Use.

Anyway, OP, there used to be a pretty large website devoted entirely to Star Wars erotica run by ShabbyBlue. I haven't seen it up in a long time, but that's who you want to look for.

hm, i was under the impression as long as no profit was made, and as long as no profit was hindered from those who hold the copyright, it's perfectly legal. considering the massive amounts of fan fiction for star wars out there, and the lack of any legal suits at all...

oh and shabbyblue has long gone. not much of his work survives today.

Lit allows fan fic and includes it in their Celeb section. There is a large disclaimer at the top of that category found here.

Its perfectly legal, 100% allowed don't let anybody fool you on that. The reason there aren't a lot of SW stories is because only fanboys would write Jedi porn and most fanboys find the subject very nearly sacret and wouldn't want to risk messing it up.

I know I wouldn't. I'd be fine to help making suggestions on how it could work and what you should do and charachter desien and the such but I won't right it myself for the same reasons.

Eh, I'm still around. It's just that that pesky thing known as "real life" has caught up to me and hindered my writing. A Jedi's Training is indefinitely on work-in-progress status, but perhaps one day I will have the time to finish it.

As for the copyright infringement aspect of it, yeah. It's probably infringement, since fair use exceptions only apply to criticism and parody, and in most cases, fan fiction is doing neither. You could argue that any fan-written story about Jedi having sex is inherently parody since the very idea is at odds with the way Jedi have been developed by Lucas et al, but ... eh. There's an argument to be made for infringement in any event. But really, no writer on Lit will be worth it for Lucasfilm to actually sue. They'd probably just send a cease and desist letter asking to take the story down, and if I ever get one of those, of course I'll comply.

By the way, xSlinky, I'm glad that you enjoyed my stories. I had (and still have, whenever I have time) lots of fun writing them.
