What law?

Anybody (in the World) who has 'made and maintains' personal wealth of (for sake of this overly simply argument) $10million (based on the current health of the US economy) 'by act of forefeiture' - cannot - 'speak publically in any media forum on any social issues of any nature what so ever.'

And if they do, by mistake or blatant infraction - they must pay fines and serve time with advent of possible jail terms.

That's pretty simple but here it is even more so. If you've made and maitain financial wealth of $10 mill or more - you can't speak out on social issues, in public - unless you pay to do so. You give up your 'public right' to free speech.

Which would be gladly excepted. They can 'pay to speak' and if they don't or won't - jail time.

Now, yes - one could opt to keep their wealth just below the $10 mill cap and speak freeley to whomever and who ever they wish, anywhere. They can opt to 'give any extra wealth' away to family, charities etc.

But if they're over the cap they must STFU - by law.

What is STFU? It's - Shut the Fuck Up!!!!

So........

Rosey O'Donnel? Shut the fuck up! Or give it away bitch.

Oprah? Shut the fuck up! Or give it the fuck away.

Howard Stern? Same deal.

GWB? Same thing. No exceptions.

All of 'um? All the ones so many week people love to 'listen to' for no particular reson except for their celebrity and wealth - they should all just STFU!

Why?

In fact - the 'fact of their wealth' and their continued strive to collect more wealth - 'removes them from main stream society and therefore 'they can't accurately speak on societal issues.' The fact that they 'continue to strive' toward accumulated wealth -negates their right to free speech.

And anyone who chooses that path - fine - do so - grab all the fucking money you want. Just........

Shut the Fuck Up!!!!!

Unless you want to put your money where your mouth is. Let all that 'extra money' do some good - spread it around, share that shit - 'then' speak our - all you fucking want.

Comments?

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

In my world, there is never......

a 'right side of the bed.

Don't you read the papers?

Or are you sucking nugate from an unhealthy egg?

And the first amendment would be to give you $10 mil so you would have to shut the fuck up.

:D

perfect!

Good concept, but I think that it would eliminate almost every television and news show immediately. I like the concept you loosely allude to of "put up or shut up" which is probably a corrolary to your STFU law.

Nope, everything 'could' remain as it is......

It's just that those on TV - any celeb - any rich guy - would have to 'pay to speak publically.'

It is in fact - 'put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is!'

I think it's a great idea.

No more NYC - all done (too bad) - in Annandale, VA., outside DC and still looking for work. Many hot irons for both of us but nothing real yet. Will happen in a few weaks - I can feel it.

Living in our small condo. Will look for a house in late summer.

Thanks for the asking.

Yep, thanks......

I grew up here.

And it's cherry blossom time and I'm goin' for a ride on my bike - right now.

Later.

Nope......

Anyone who listens to a "celebrity", whether from wealth or fame, shall have their ears cut off for stupidity, and their mouths sewn shut to avoid repeating "Drivel".:p

RhumbRunner:D

So I'm Not the Only One who Hates the Oscars and Grammies?

Kranky, dust off your Guitar...Songs are just a waitin'

Nah, I do see, I understand how many......

fucking morons out there put 'these people' up on pedestals they have no right to.

But I look at this as an 'income generating' law.

Kind of like speeding and seatbelt tickets.

Let the assholes speak - but let them pay to do it. Let them have they're fucking Oscars/Grammies and other such mundane and insipid self-worshiping shows. But - if they say anything other than thanks mom/dad/my agent/my fans and God - make'um pay.

I mean - they do have the money - even if they don't have the brains.

But we are the one’s happily paying these people to keep on talking…

It’s us..paying a basketball players 400,000 a day to throw a ball through a tiny little hoop…

We are the ones paying Stern to keep running with his mouth on a National scale.

So they talk and do stuff like hit balls in the air…..and we happily pay for that.

But a price on opinions…sounds like an Orwell book.
A dangerous concept…in this poor girl’s opinion.

Some have labeled my idea as Socialist.

To the contrary.

I think it's the ultimate in Democracy.

Paying (provided you have far more money than you actually need) to speak freely.

I think it's awesome.

And what 'danger' could there be? On one hand - many of the greedy fucks would choose to 'shut the fuck up,' and keep thier money.

And those that elected to 'pay to speak free' - well - that money would be spent elsewhere - spreading it around the 'free' economy.

What danger?

$$$

I grew up loving sports and rock music

But I've grown to disdain them...most of them have made it through college and could barely make it into Highschool...$$$

Anyways, Anne Margrite has been in town in a play that the local critics hated...If I had the extra money to spend, I'd be there with a Hard-on:devil:

Sound to me a great idea Sparky. It could be ammended with a "right to be listened to" law.

There could be a bum lottery where all the marginalised had a right to a weekly prime time telly slot - speech writters, media help etc.. They could be tutored what to say.

I think this already happens in Lybia.

The really rich ones would just hide the money and claim to have 9.99999999999 million dollars...
