I've received two emails from Literotica asking me to click on a link called "Spamarrest." Is this legit? Or maybe a trap?

Thanks, Dee

Your post has been reported to the admins for an official answer from Laurel or Manu.

However, I don't believe you should be getting any e-mail from Literotica with links to anything other than Literotica.

Don't click

To my knowledge, this is not legitimate!

Lit never sends out requests to "click" on anything!

Thanks to the both of you for such a speedy reply. It just didn't look right so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks again, Dee

You know, I actually thought that said Spermarrest.

And even worse, that's why I clicked the thread.

What's wrong with me?

That is legitimate. Because of the mass amount of spam we receive, we use a challenge-response system known as Spamarrest which verifies that an actual human is mailing us.

The first time someone sends us an email, Spamarrest replies with a link for you to click.

Once you have clicked that link, your email address will be added to our whitelist and all future email from that address will come directly to us.

If you do not click on the link in the mail sent from Spamarrest, your mail will not make it to us.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. :rose:
