I just sent you a message of appology explaining how I have not registered in AOL IM because I'm too stupid and don't have time (because I'm baby sitting) and because AOL here in NYC is totally unstable - etc., etc.

And when I sent the message AOL kicked me off and I have no idea if it went through. So here I am putting this on the board.

My home computer is a frustrating hit or miss situation at best. Hard to hold any meaningful conversations from here. Work is still the best place for me.

And now AOL has raised my rent - looks like it soon may be Road Runner city. Later.

sorry to but in here but I know plenty of people who went with AOL here in the UK and every singl one has left because the service suck's, I use Freeserve which ain't great but still better than AOL, many people I know use Demon and rate it as very good indeed.

Anybody else know a good ISP or have a story about a bad one....?

Since we last spoke - I went into this beast in browse and deleted every damn remnant of AOL - from everywhere I could find it.

Then I re-installed from a fresh disk - and so far so good.

But I agree - it still blows and I certainly won't be one who stays with them after this rate increas.
