Interesting. I find the GB is very similar to the PG board, only the GB has more vitriol, a few NIMBYs, and a bunch of alts. With the recent move of the political threads, I find the similarities between the two boards even more apparent.

We were in Amalfi on the coast east of Naples and south of Vesuvius. We hiked up the cobbled trail to a hilltop town on a warm, stormy spring day; the English girls in short-shorts walking ahead of us were damp. We reached Pogerola amid thunderbolts and ducked into a bar for shelter and sustenance. We were cold and tired. We ordered espresso. So sorry, the power was out and the espresso machine would not work. No coffee. So -- brandy had to suffice.

When you're out of coffee, don't back down. Drink something.

Damn, I seriously read that as "Tackling burgers at 3am isn't my idea of fun!" while thinking that if I am having a burger at 3am I so know, at that time, it would be the most amazing sensation. The thought of it right now is not so great.
