son of the isolated blurts thread!

Why am I nervous since he's the one taking the SAT???

Where is Prince Valium when you need him?

Also, have been to and back from the DMV this morning without killing myself or anyone else. I think it may turn out to be a good day after all.

Jim Carey's Grinch: Vengeance!

Bahahahaha. Oh yes, that is perfect.

On another note, regarding the Kmart Adam Levine commercial. I would have a strict no clothing in bed policy for Adam Levine. In fact, I think I would probably request all his clothes at the door and then throw them out the window.

^^^ For the life of me, I just can't get into Jim Carey. His antics drive me insane, and not in a good way. I think the only thing I really liked him in was The Majestic.

I had the tv on for noise while I was cleaning and that movie happened to be on. He's too over the top for me too, but that line is priceless.

I never saw The Majestic. Now, I did like him in The Truman Show, even though the movie itself kind of horrified me.

YAY! Chores are done. I'm mani- and pedicured and finally relaxing in my bed, all warm and snuggly.

Doing your work ''too late'' when you're doing it 3 days early.. please explain this logic to me.

My husband starts his new job tomorrow morning. Since my oldest started school in 2003, one or the other of us has been a stay-at-home parent, so we have never had to make arrangements for delays or closings.

Unfortunately, the schools are on a two-hour delay tomorrow. My husband's orientation starts at 7:00, and I have to leave by 8:30 at the latest. The bus won't pick up the big girls until 9:00 and the little girls until 9:45.

If the delay would have happened next week (or any day this week but tomorrow), one of us would be home. I think we know how we're going to handle it, but GAH!

I loved Jim Carey in The Truman Show, and thought that was a brilliant film.

One of the best movies of all time. Truly innovative and ahead of its time. It's look into "reality TV" before it was even a big thing was just so insightful.

I think Jim Carey is a better dramatic actor than comedic. However, Dumb and Dumber is ridiculously funny every time I see it.

Man on the Moon - amazing performance by Jim Carey

Never saw that one either. I need to fire up Netflicks apparently.

Beware of doctors bearing scalpels! And why do they leave you alone in the room with the implements of husbandry in full view? I'm fairly stalwart, but I think it's good they didn't take my blood pressure before the dicing began. I was getting a lil nervous.
