Someone PLEASE Explain this

Can anyone figure out how this works?

I have tried not looking at the symbol, not thinking about, not moving the mouse, I'm almost at the point of not breathing, but still....this damn psychic thing gets it right EVERY TIME.

nope. its just really random. I chose the number 33. 3+3=6
33-6=27. 27 is a sideways arrow with something through the middle. it showed me a snowflake

I can say it's a simple matter of mathematics. I've been looking at it, and if you take a numer, like 99, which will give 81 as the result. Then you use 81, which will give you 72 as the result. And continue that way. Like this:

99 -> 81
81 -> 72
72 -> 63
63 -> 54
54 -> 45
45 -> 36
36 -> 27
27 -> 18
18 -> 09

Odly enough, in this case, there are 9 between each of the results, and the results all have the same symbol

You can also try with another number, like 89:

89 -> 72
72 -> 63
and then it's the same as before

68 then:

68 -> 54
54 -> 45
And we're back to the same numbers again

Nike I think you might have looked wrong.

There are 13 possible answers, since the highest number you can choose is 99, that leads to a value of 13. (9+9-5=13)

The first one I chose, 35, led to the symbol for 3 (3+5-5=3)... exactly RIGHT!!! Damn!!!

However, the next four I tried were all completely wrong. Either the result is random, or my firewall is so good it is blocking my psychic signals...

Homo_Erectus you have gotten the instructions wrong.

You take the two digit number, and add those two digits together, and then subtract them for the original number, it's not 5 that you subtract from it.

For 35 it's: 35 - (3+5) = 27
for 43 it's: 43 - (4+3) = 36

shy guy is right. The formula always comes up as a multiple of nine. The multiples of nine all have the same symbol, but it changes randomly with each play.
