I have just talked to Angelique, and we have some fantastic news. Her son is doing a lot better, the doctors are hoping to get him home either saturday or sunday. Which is extremely wonderful. He is off oxygen and eating now, he even ate and played with mom a little yesterday, so he is on the mends.

They we still be giving him aresol treatments and Angelique will have to give them to him at home. We are all really happy here and want to thank each and everyone of you who prayed for Angelique and sent out your best wishes for her son's speedy recovery it worked.

Angelique wanted me to let everyone know, how much your prayers and thoughts meant to her. She is very grateful and wanted to let everyone know how grateful her and her family are.

Thanks for the update, glad he is getting better.

I am so glad he is doing better. Send my good wishes to Angelique & her family.

Of course our best wished go to her and him, and everyone involved. But we will continue to carry them in our thoughts for awhile yet... okay?

Thank you, Skitten, that is good news. Hugs to Angelique and the little guy.

Thank goodness!!! I can uncross my fingers now. Wish them happy holidays for me!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Well, we're officially home from the hospital!! YEAH!!! My son is doing fairly well...a bit tired from all of the medications they gave him, but he's looking more healthy than he did a week ago! The final diagnosis was Asthma, complicated by Pneumonia and RSV. The few days he spent in ICU helped him tremendously, although they were definitely a little tough on mom.

They sent us home with a breathing unit called a nebulizer...used for children with Asthma. Hopefully that'll prevent us from making a million trips to the ER this winter.

At any rate, I wanted to be sure to thank all of you who kept us in your thoughts, and those who said prayers. They were definitely needed, and certainly appreciated by both myself and my son.

This is, by far, the best Christmas gift I could possibly be given...having my little guy home for the holidays. :)

GREAT NEWS Angelique. Praying that everything continues to go well with the little one.

That is the best news a mother can hear - glad he's doing better - hope you have a great Christmas.

I am so happy to hear the good news Angie ...

<big hugs to you and your son> :)

That is so good to hear.

Please send her my love Skitten, when you talk next and let her know that I truly miss her.

Have a wonderful Christmas with your two gorgeous Kids Angel, you all deserve it.
