Missed you the first time round as I wasn't around at the time and well done on not asking The Question while you were biting your fingernails to the quick waiting for your story to post.
Two things:
One: a fair bit of the feedback you got/are getting is designed to inveigle you into various nefarious dealings from a simple e-mail relationship to wanting to meet and get in your knickers. This is because you are a girlie and wrote about sex. You can answer all these mails (if you want to answer them) with a simple "Thanks for reading my story." they tend to get the hint.
Two: The best of the feedback will be not about you but about your story. How the reader was drawn in or identified with characters. How well (or badly) you handled the emotional content in your writing. How many speeling eraws there was or grammatical ridiculosities.
These latter deserve a longer reply, since they took the time to comment personally.
If Zoot sends one of the latter, pointing out discrepancies and/or praising your descriptive abilities he definitely does not want a reply because his favourite pastime is pontificating.
This is, of course, if you want to reply. If your only aim was to write that one story to get it off your chest then that's fine. On the other hand, if you think the writing bug has bitten, then it is a good idea to reply to 'serious' feedback'.
That's all.
Gauch! On behalf of perverts everywhere and certainly here....I resent the presumption that she does not desire me in her knickers. I hardly thinks she needs your advice on blowing me off(so to speak)!! I am quite capable of turning off women all by myself, thank you!!
I ONLY comment on stories written by girlies whose pantities I desire to interude upon, conceptually, anyway (even my epic dick cannot span the continents)....
And Zoot? Don't underestimate the appeal of a little helpful pontificating....
Cheezzz
What a spoil sport!
