Critique please?

I've just written a new story (Helping Melinda part 7), in the story a man masturbates a woman to a huge, powerful orgasm. (Which is why it's a story and not real life) Is it allowable to ask someone, an editor or another author to critique what I've written and submit suggestions to make it more believable or compelling?

Your Control Panel page has a tab for "editors". You can in principle use that to find a volunteer editor. There's an editors forum here, parallel to the Authors Hangout.

If your story isn't published yet, then you need an editor or a beta reader. You'll need to decide which you want. A beta reader gives feedback on the story and may, at their discretion, point out editing problems. An editor may or may not give you much feedback. They're job is edit your story.

Either can be contacted in the editors forum. You will need to have some way to share the story with them. Give your story's title, category, length, and something about the content (as you did in the first post). Tell if you need a beta reader or an editor. Be ready to tell a beta reader what you want feedback on. Be ready to tell an editor what kind of editing you want (developmental, proof reading, copy editing). Look up the different kinds of editing if you need an editor and don't know what those are.
