Does anyone here watch Soaps?

I watch Days (occasionally)
As the World Turns (religiously)
Guiding Light (mostly)

and sometimes on soapnet I watch General Hospital (my favorite ABC soap), One Life and All My Children. I think it's one life that has the Angie and Jessie storyline- I love that one. That's an amazing story.

I used to watch Passions before I switched back to ATWT.

What do you watch?

I used to watch Days Of Our Lives until I took a long break from it and when I came back, I no longer recognized anyone on the show. In a soap, when someone says, "I'm not feeling like myself these days." they really mean it. :D

I watch the primetime soaps, (on DVD) like Desperate Housewives, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, mainly because the script writing seems to be a cut above what you would expect from network TV. The writing on daytime soaps is so unbearable annoying, I can't stand even five minutes of one of those shows. It seems all they do is argue. At least on the primetime soaps, they argue with style and class, and the scenery is better, not to mention the acting. I like odd characters, and it seems the daytime soaps are made up of nothing but GQ and Vogue wannabe's. Has there ever been a Hurly, or a Christine (Sandra Oh) on a daytime soap?
