Prove it!

Here is an iq test, 40 questions, that will tell us how smart you really are!

Well, it is fun to do, anyway.

I was surprised to find that my IQ tested the same on this test as it did when I took the IQ tests in High School.

So perhaps, that speaks to the validity of the test.

Check it out and post your IQ....if you dare!

:D

I did that one last time. 153 was the result.

I did this MissyT. I flunked. It was suggested I find a support group.

Can you imagine that?

Ummmm I thought this was supposed to a fun uplifting place.....I hated high school lol.....;) :p

I'm with you Chris.....122, damn those math problems.......:p

I thought I'd aced it but only managed a 136.

ditto. but I'm chalking it up to the fact that I'm ill and irritable and said "Oh fuck this" on some of the picture questions.

I took a look and realized I might have to think to do this test....
No way hose'! I left school cause of that kind of stuff.

No way!

Well, there it is.

The test sucks. :D

(You notice I am not posting my score, either, right?)

;)

135.

Be forewarned; this is one of those IQ tests that requires you fill out personal info, including your email addy, and there is a popup. It says it will send the results to your email addy, but then gives you the score right there on the page - so in essence it lies to you to get your email addy.

It is just a marketing thing, and it doesn't seem to be timed, so I don't know how valid it is.

Hmmmm...136. I'm a smart cookie, but I thought I'd do better. Maybe I'm dumber than I thought!

I scored i.

(That's the square root of -1 for all of you who are not math geeks.)

Warning - spoiler answer!

I can't remember the formula for triangles.

I think that's relevant, lol.
The easiest way to remember it is to remember it as the 3-4-5 rule. If one side is 3 feet in length, another side is 4' in length, then the third side will be 5 feet in length. This is why that one question used 6 and 8 miles (multiples of 3 and 4)as the lengths that the people drove. I won't give away the rest of it so people can answer it themselves.

I will never forget the Pythagorean Theorem. Whenever I got a problem wrong because of not using it, my geometry teacher would draw a little tombstone next to the problem and write, "R.I.P. Pythagoris" (sp). :D

c^2=a^2+b^2 (for right triangles, at least)

127...doesn't seem right to me but...

I'll admit that I don't use my intelligence for anything worth while, but I know it's there. 127 isn't a bad score, but I don't think I've ever scored beneath 140 before...

*Shrugs*

Spoiler continued:

Don't forget to double your answer - they drove away from eachother.
