The roads are all icing over here in Georgia and people are freaking lol. It may seem silly to some of you guys and gals who get snow constantly, but when roads ice down here we do not have an infrastructure in place for it and everyone goes craaaaazy.

Same on this side of the pond - 2 inches and we're screwed (so to speak)

Yep...

It's cold in the North East ... BUT it's suposed to get close to 50 or more by Tuesday or Wed.

Crazzzzzzzy

BTW, if you get stuck on ice, you can use kitty litter under your tires for traction.

Have about an inch on the ground here in Pennsylvania and everybody is in a panic. Lol

a COUPLE OF OTHER TRICKS

Deflate your tires a little.. more rubber on the ground, better grip and traction...

Depending on the car you have... throw some "weight" in the back ( bags of pet food or litter ) and if you can, over the rear tires, assuming you have rear while drive..

Remember, if you have 4 wheel drive, it won't stop you any better/faster on ice then a car.

Just go a little slower then the speed limits... easy on the brakes, pump them... drive in a lower gear... don't brake on/in a curve

Inch of snow in PA throws you in a panic, but that only goes for the east siders of the state. Erie is in the Snow Belt along the lake shore.

Winter Weather?

Nice and warm at 15 degrees F...but falling as the sun sets. Good snow cover.
Yesterday? 20 MPH winds and -5 F. That was a bit brisk!

Here in the DC area about an inch on the ground. About 6 in my pants. Lol

In southwest VA we have snow! Luckily most people around here know how to drive in bad weather.

We have about an inch

Here in Maryland. People here don't know how to drive in snow for the most part! Ruined all my naughty plans for the day!:(

As this is written, it's -3 F here in Vermont, and compared to yesterday, it's a heat wave

It's a bit passed Winter.... More like Arctic. below zero and the road is slick. Not going to be a fun drive to the ski slopes....

Diva must be in a different part of SWVA then I am. People around here drive like crazy even when there is snow/ice on the roads. Be barely crawling along and then a car blows by you. Of course 90% of the time you'll see them in the ditch about a mile down the road.

Haha maybe...the roads around here are all slow, so that helps.

I hate snow not because of the snow itself but the old people that freak out when there is a flurry in the sky.

From the North. Used to live in the south. Just hole up and wait until it melts tomorrow. Of course when I used to live down there I never did that because I knew how to drive in it. :)

Here in NC we got about 1/2 inch of snow then it turned to ice/freezing rain.
People drove really aggressively. Lots of cars in ditches, etc...
Twice I was behind cars coming up to bridges and the drivers hit their brakes when they got on the bridge, spinning their cars. I was lucky to have not gotten caught up in their stupidity...
Tonight is in the teens....cold...
I need someone to keep me warm.....lol

Not a whole lot of snow this winter so far here in Michigan (about 10 inches this season), but it's been bitter cold the past two weeks.
