I'll take your word for it. But like I said it makes sense. It's basically how we ended up with sanctuary cities in California. The cops couldn't be effective when people refused to talk to them out of fear of being deported or getting someone they loved deported.

Well as has been mentioned there are a LOT of reasons why we glorify the bad guys and vilify the cops. I think it's real easy for whites to kind of ignore, not be aware of, forget the sixties. I might not have been there but my father did march with Martin and Malcolm and did have hoses turned on him. I don't know if he was ever personally there for dogs (I assume not since that sounds like the kind of thing he would have brought up) and did rally with Huey. I was raised by him and spent time around my uncles who had similar experiences. I do my best to be aware of when my father's morality is starting to creep up but we are to some extent who our parents raise us as.

I doubt the next generation will be talking about Trayvon and brown, at least I sincerly hope that these things have largely stopped by then. Like I keep saying a lot of this has to do with perception. I'm sure there are times when I've been pulled over by a cop or had them question me when I fully deserved it or at least enough that it wasn't because I was black. I also know that there have been times when I've been waiting for a ride and the cops have been like "Why you out?" And literally every question they asked me needed to be backed up by one of the white people around me.

We're a long, long way from fucking to the same shade.

First let me point out that your question is of poor construction. I went the FBI site and looked at some breakdowns and in total number of crimes, it goes back and forth as to who commits the most which gives you an argument against what you think the OP said. However, went you compare numbers as a ratio, crimes over population, the black demographic wins hands down. Now I saw on page one or two the claim that FBI statistics never ever mention race and that was then assumed to be an a prori statement, but it I found it, then it cannot be a true statement or a valid premise for any logical construction, therefore, YOU need to make your case, not I.

Now, a partial answer to the question as I interpreted it, not raw numbers, which are not altogether truthful, but as a ratio which tells a grim and disturbing story.

Second let me point out that your post is long winded and neither addresses the cause of the violent crime mentioned in the op, or my response attempting to educate you right wing racists. However considering how most people from other countries assimilate within a generation or two I have no reason to doubt that the same thing will happen with the Hispanics. It's easy to forget how recently Americans stopped having broods like that. Depending on how old you are it could be you parents or grand parents but how many of them are one out of five or more? Of the grandparents I met (one was dead before my parents even met) two were in families of six children and the other four.
