it will suck. warcraft never had a very engrossing story. the original were all RTS and then they wanted to get some of that everquest money and made it an MMO. video game movies dont turn out well most of the time anyway. here i will prove it

I wish we lived in a world where the comics and other media were so blatantly pro American. I'm damn proud of every comic cover shown.

That said Sam Raimi in Spidey 3 is a well known but tragic Tail. He's a fan of Sandman and he hates Venom. He wanted to to Sandman, the producers told him to do Venom.

In a perfect world Spidey 3 was one of two movies. One involved Sandman and a "Goblin" and in the end Spidey wins only because of the black suit which he gives up. All the shit about Harry stealing Mary Jane is instead given to Brock in a Venom I could kill you anytime I want but I'd rather fuck with you story for a fourth film.

The other option (and one I think would make a great fourth movie. Is Kurt Connors finally becomes the Lizard and attracts Kraven to New York so we get a battle of Spidy trying to basically in a three way fight where the Lizard doesn't discriminate between friend and foe, and Kraven wants the Lizard bad enough to hurt people in the way. After two movies of teasing the Lizard NEEDS to show up and I doubt he can carry a movie solo.

no kurt cant carry the movie but other villians could. carnage, shocker, electro, mysterio, scorpion, morlun, hydro, and even the resurected green goblin. just pick two to have and go at it.

See the problem isn't so much this villain or that couldn't do a whole movie, the problem is the movie company going OK we want this guy and that guy in the movie, but that guy is only a minor character. two face is a major villian but not in a movie sense. unless you wanted batman following him around calling him harvey and trying to change his mind the entire time it wouldnt have worked. he is only dangerous because he is unpredictable. the way they did him in the movie was great. the alternative would have been like batman forever. you really want that?

In the end he was just some guy who you sorta felt sorry for. Not like Doc Ock who you felt sorry for but was still really kick ass. Sandman was just a guy.

They gave Sandman a purpose and a story, which was a good one. It fit well within the movie Spiderman realm Raimi was creating, which was mostly comic book canon but also just-for-the-screen.

Venom should've been the main focus and given more screentime. Not only because he's a fan favorite but also because as a nonhuman nemesis, you can get away with a lot of deus ex machina with him. Also, they should've set up a Carnage segue, which is still a possibility within the Lizard showdown, since the symbiote sample exists with Dr. Connors. There's a lot to work into the series. Despite all the flaws, I thought SM3 worked and was enjoyable.

Venom can come back, remember he's an alien entity they can have him do most anything really, why do you think superheroes always face off against aliens of one kind or another?

they did his origin in the first one and the second one they did him being mentally beaten. two face does the same hting so its not needed. i would rather see someone who can be a physical challenge like killer croc or someone who has done both like bane.

I liked Spiderman 3 fine, but I would have preferred for the story to be chronologically correct and at the very least the origins of those characters to be some semblance of what happened in the comic

I think the WOW movie will be rather "sucky" as you put it. It doesnt have a tangible story line.
Now if they made an Oblivion movie... that would kick ass.

WoW has plenty of backstory between the second and third games as well as the expansion packs. And it's compact enough to make a story.

Oblivion would make a great movie for another reason. There is nothing tangible in that world. It's too big, too poorly defined so you'd just slap a name on it. Comic movies based on obscurities tend to do well. Blade and Men in Black both come to mind. Part of it is that their aren't enough fanboys to whine.

Also The Tomb Raider movies didn't suck. They might not have been perfect but they weren't crap.
