So I suck at bowling

Last night a friend of mine who decided he wanted to go out and do something. Of course he decided this somewhat late in the evening, and we drove around trying to figure out something to do. We wound up bowling, since that's the only thing open at 11:30 in my town.

We played three games. It's the first time I've played in over 7 years, and I lost all three games. He says I have no form.

Bowling balls are supposed to roll, not bounce, right?

I hurt my hands. I have delicate hands (just like the rest of my poofy little body) so the balls were a little painful to handle.

Bowled a bit in high school...great club nearby...anyway was taught that you should end up giving the pins the finger after you let the ball go...keep your wrist flat and release and there ya go...got four strikes in a row one night!

babe...you are not the ONLY one! I can't play either (my eldest can though---and she LOVES it!)

I'm not great at it, but I love it anyway.

It takes practice, (lots in my case).

My stepkid went bowling the other nite.....his BEST game was a 43...now assuming he threw the ball 20 times, thats 2.15 pins per roll.

I carry a 195 average. My dad was a pro bowler, and a great girl friend from Queens New York is a touring pro that averages 231.

I'm thinkin my stepkids need some direction in the bowling deal...Helen Keller could bowl 43...hell she could bowl more than that and shes blind AND dead.
