My North American geography isn't that bad, but I checked it on a map anyway. British Columbia does appear to be closer to Oregon than the DC area... If you go here: and request distances between, say, Baltimore Maryland (picked at random as Etoile has mentioned the DC area once or twice, in reference to bdsm clubs) and Portland Oregon (Wild guess as that's the only city in Oregon I know off-hand) you get about 2358 miles. If you ask for Victoria, BC (as Ms. Shadowsdream profile states) to Portland you get 206 miles. So I'm guessing that if Snowy ever did wind up at at Graceanne's, a side trip to BC would be do-able if Ms. Shadowsdream were at home.

And Netzach on the East Coast. When in doubt, if they're American, assume they're either in Minnesota or Florida. We have a lot of people who live in those states here. Mostly Florida, I think.
