Skin condition- help?

Ahh girls after my own heart...lol Been there done that.. it is a fungal/yeast infection. I get it also between the bottom roll and thigh area.. also under my breasts in the summer. I have seen the doctor and she has prescribed Nystatin powder.. works very quickly. In between I use the baby gold bond just to try and prevent it. In a pinch I have also used Lotrimin Spray Powder (yes for jock itch or toes) since it is also in the fungal family. The spray powder is prefered to the regular spray or cream since the last thing you want to do is keep the area damp.

You're like one of those japanamation ppl... That's fucking cool, i with i could draw. Your name's like a version of "Mynx", yes? only it's Lynx and with an IE.

Bitchin sig.

Actually, I hate most anime...but I happen to kind of like Catgirls. Lynxie is a nickname I've used online, and since a lynx is a species of cat, it seemed fitting. Thanks for the compliment :)

CG, keep us posted on how your tummy's doing!

Well, I put some powder on it earlier and it was very cooling. Felt nice. I'll put some on again before bed. We'll see how it looks in the morning. Thanks all. :rose:

this is totally uncalled for, douche bag.

CG has given some excellent advice, without reservation, to anyone who's asked. if you don't want to answer her question then just ignore the thread.

i think we all need to respect one another a little more... and judge a little less.

High 5, EJ ;)

it's true though.

if the fatty lost some weight she wouldnt have gross skin puss issues to deal with.. how disgusting.

no wonder all fat people smell so bad

Didn't I tell you to stay away from mama's keyboard? Can't you go outside and play ball or something?

And why don't you post a picture of yourself? Are you afraid it might hurt our eyes?

if you can get some, use the Gold Bond medicated stuff. it really helps any type of rash.

Depending on skin type. The regular strength gold bond actually gave me a chemical burn thats why I go for the baby gold bond. If you have sensitive skin be careful.

I'd say that's a thing to think about anytime you put anything on your skin. For me, there are some products where I have to have the "sensitive" type where others, the normal kind is just fine.

I am very familiar with this issue. I deal with it sometimes. I find that if I dry it off after I take a shower and apply baking soda or cornstarch it works. Baking soda sounds crazy but it works. I used it the first time I had this and didn't have anything else. My mom told me to use baking soda because we didn't have cornstarch. It is cooling and helps. I have moved on to cortizone and that works wonders too. Keep the powder on hand for the summer cuz that is when the fun starts.

There is some great advice on this thread. Sorry to see that there are still a few assholes that get loose.

And just so the asshole knows there are plenty of skinny people who stink too. Most of the fat people I know, including myself don't smell. I go to great lengths to make sure that I don't. What you smell is probably coming from you.
