I'm simultaneously sorry and glad to hear it.

Help? What do I know -- I thought Brittany Murphy might be the toughest one on here. About the only helpful point to note that I can think of are that some of the performers involved here have been quite good in biopics; other than that I don't know what help people might need. (Is that sufficiently helpful?)

You are not! That's my favorite actress in the entire world (except for my daughter, who is only an amateur at present).

The guy, though ... trying to think of good hints ...
In the role I have him in, and in another movie for which he is known, he is the only person to survive a battle that was ill conceived.
Also, he is from the same country as one of the performers to whom he is linked.

Not sure if that will help.

OK, thanks to nauti, I need to apologize and repost the picture set with a CORRECT picture for one of the actors, while excusing myself by saying that the website I got the picture from idenified this as <XXxx as YYy> and you can compare the pictures and see they look A LOT alike.

I don't always check 3 or 4 websites to make sure the first one is right. Maybe I should.

Yes, it was INTENDED to be all along. I found a website identifying the picture as <XXxx as YYy> and thought, holy cow, that looks JUST like him.

Funny how much it so much looks Ray.

OK, since you have corrected me on my mistake, I will give you an extra, much more helpful hint.

One of the two had a moderately important role in a film in the last ten years that won the Oscar for best picture.

And just as a side note, there is a brief song in that film that I have instructed my daughter to have sung at my funeral, provided she can get the person who sung it in the film to sing it at my funeral.
As it turns out, just looking at a video of that song, the actor in question has a head shot during that scene.

That's a pretty good hint. (But I am not giving out my daughter's phone number.)


You are right about the other clue, though -- I thought I might have had a post in the CILF thread, but I see now that I do not. I have mentioned my interest before, though ... there might be SOMEONE on the thread who knows.

Just curious ... assuming Will Smith and Matt Damon are pictured in this list, they clearly WERE in Jersey Girl together ... did you hate the film?
