I look at it by way of the movie that brought it to the mainstage attentionwise, American Pie. I look at it as someone who's old enough to be the mother of myself or someone in my immediate circle of friends and scaled back along those lines towards basically anyone who's of an age that they could have kids who were just graduating from high school.
Whether they actually *have* kids is a question for the purists.
I think it comes down to mid30s or older woman who looks like she might be someone's mother (no supermodels, etc) and who you find yourself looking at and going..."Yeah"
Intriguing. As a woman I have always felt that anyone 20 years older than me would be a MILF (a mother's age). At (hm what age was I?) one time I thought Catherine Denueve and Susan Sarandon going at it in "The Hunger" were not milfs per se (never thought of the word - lol - Funny enough, I never thought of them as milfs, just as sexy older women even when that age and my own mother was much younger than both of them). They still are sexy to me. Yet, I never consider anyone "my age" to be a milf, even though younger others may see me as such since I have grown older.
Why are there milfs and not filfs? Why does no one blink an eye when an older man dates a younger woman, but when a younger man dates an older woman there is not only no understanding, but there is down right nastiness about it?
