SirW in hospital, good vibes, please?

Uh huh. How's the Thai food in your neighborhood? ;)

I've lived in places tiny and mammoth, and Thai food was the saddest casualty each time.

Until 7-eleven began stocking their new Thai taquitos on the heatlamp medieval food torture station. The Tom Kha Gai slurpees were pretty good last summer, too.

The Thai food in my neighborhood is 180 miles away. That's okay, though. I much prefer Chinese (especially buffets), and there are Chinese restaurants within 32, 45 and 98 miles.

That's just ... gross, DGE. Gross. Disgusting. Ewww.

Here it's either that, or a bunch of cars stuck behind a tractor with no way to get around him.

Personally, I think the tractor is worse. At least the semi can get up past 15mph after a few minutes.
With the tractors, there's usually little enough traffic that one can just whip out around them and barely have to slow down, especially since most of the tractor drivers will swing as far onto the shoulder as they can when they see someone coming up behind them. And people turning left off the highway will often pull into the opposing lane rather than slow the traffic behind them (as long as they don't see anyone coming toward them, of course).

Yeah, tractors are usually pretty easy to get around. But there are a few roads with lots of curves and hills, so sometimes people get stuck behind them for miles.

Though, I'm not complaining about the tractors. They move way faster then the Amish buggies.

As snarky as that last post appeared, I've actually been surprised to see very edible Thai food in some of the least-populated places. Of course, one of my favorites is a Mexican restaurant in a smallish town in Maine that has a Karaoke night every week. :D

It's just a rumor, but my friends in the fast-food community tell me that McD's is testing McPhat Prikh.

Dude, if fast food places got hip to boba, I'd be driving through more. Honeydew or Dew?

Oh yeah, because I need something that invites the creepy guys to hit on me just that much more.

Besides, I'd blush all day long.
If you don't want me to hit on you, that AV with your ass pointed right at me is gonna have to go, lol, because that's exactly what I like to hit (on). :p

And making female people blush is one of my favorite activities.

Looks like you're SOL here, darlin'!

Well, here I expect to be hit on by old creepy guys. :p

And I don't think anyone here really creeps me out as much as some of the people that come through my drive through. Some of them put out a really bad vibe.

*facepalm*

Yeah, and I'm sure Lobster claws make super great castanets.

I'm posting this here, just because of the brattiness factor suggested by graceanne, even though I know Sir will object...

but I just noticed the thread and wanted to add my wishes for good health. Hope you're feeling stronger every day.

*trots off to youtube Chicago...

Curious about what aspects of Chicago you hope to enjoy via the you tube. Care to share?
