The Thai food in my neighborhood is 180 miles away. That's okay, though. I much prefer Chinese (especially buffets), and there are Chinese restaurants within 32, 45 and 98 miles.Uh huh. How's the Thai food in your neighborhood?

With the tractors, there's usually little enough traffic that one can just whip out around them and barely have to slow down, especially since most of the tractor drivers will swing as far onto the shoulder as they can when they see someone coming up behind them. And people turning left off the highway will often pull into the opposing lane rather than slow the traffic behind them (as long as they don't see anyone coming toward them, of course).Here it's either that, or a bunch of cars stuck behind a tractor with no way to get around him.
Personally, I think the tractor is worse. At least the semi can get up past 15mph after a few minutes.

As snarky as that last post appeared, I've actually been surprised to see very edible Thai food in some of the least-populated places. Of course, one of my favorites is a Mexican restaurant in a smallish town in Maine that has a Karaoke night every week.
