I wish my husband reacted that way when I write stories. He just rolls his eyes in general and tells me I'm insane.

Hey at least you get a reaction. My hubby pretty much just ignores this part of my life. I've tried countless times to get him to read some of my stories. He won't. Says he's doesn't like to read. I even tried to get him to read the few that were about him. Not happening. Oh well.

My wife sort of tolerates my writing. She doesn't really like it, but figures there is no harm and we make a few bucks from it, so she toleratres it.

If I had to choose between it and her, of course I would choose her. It is just a fun thing to do, but not the most important thing in my life.

I'm doing better than that. I have 16 votes and six comments, but four of those are from others in the chain. Chain stories I have posted in the past tend to not get very many votes or views.

I'm going to have to revise my previous estimate. Unfortunately, I had to work a few days of overtime this week which put me back on finishing and editing the story. It's going to be another day, maybe two. Apologies for being tardy but that's how life goes.

LeeChambers, do you have an update on your story progress? Please don't feel you have to rush to finish it, or even finish at all if real life or writers block has interfered; I'm just curious. I haven't seen it posted, but then again I haven't been as observant as I should be.

Anyone else who wants to participate in this chain is more than welcome, just post here about what song you'd like to do and when you think you'd be ready, and I'll add you to the schedule in the first post
