Quite simply, what non-erotic act do you find pleasurable?

For me, it's driving barefoot. I still don't know why; I started doing it years ago, when I was still a beach lifeguard, primarily because I didn't need to wear shoes. Every day, I could go from my house to the beach in just my suit, and if I went out after work, it was a beach town where I was pretty well known and I could usually get in even though I wasn't wearing anything but sweat, sand, and swim trunks.

Taking a shower.

I love the water hitting my body and streaming down. i love the feel of being clean and the scent of my soap and shampoo. I have a special sponge just for washing my face and a long back brush for scrubbing my back. I think i could run the whole the tank empty of hot water just with one shower, each time, if there weren't other people in my house that like to take showers and baths, too. (Blast 'em!)

I can relate, Cym. I've actually are contemplating converting the shower in the basement to one of those 8 x 6 all tile jobbies with the built in tiled seat, frosted glass front wall, and three shower heads.

However, SOMEONE wants to convert it to a laundry room.

If you do can I live with you?

I'll bring an "Infinity" hot water system with me even

Walking on nice soft grass bare-footed. Catching a sunset on top of a mountain or side of a big hill at the least, heck maybe even from the roof of my house. I like to make my nephew smile and see him smile. Okay I am getting mushy now, I'll stop.

If I do, something tells me they'll be plenty of room in my house...LOL

I find pleasure in lots of little things. Like watching puppies jumping and bouncing and falling all over themselves. Sitting outside on a warm summer evening, quietly, watching the sun set.

I like walking outside in a light rain. I take pleasure in watching my team win a game. I love reading a wonderful book or story. I delight in the first warm day of spring when I roll down the car windows, crank up the radio and sing along at the top of my voice!

I love walking past a construction site and getting whistled at! I love watching a child's eyes grow big when they suddenly 'discover' something for the first time.

I find pleasure in good conversation. Meeting new friends. I adore eating a drippy ice cream cone on a day like today!

I'd have to say showers as well. I love the way water feels against my bare skin. I love slathering on scented lotion until my skin feels silky smooth, putting on my favorite jammies, and then slipping into fresh sheets...all for me, all for the pure joy of the experience.

The shower set up Bob describes sounds like complete heaven.

I like the satisfaction of completing my projects and achieving goals that seem unattttainable.

I like to wear Speed-o's at the beach and make all the gals go "What the hell?" ooooppppsss wrong thread......

I like to take nice walks on the beach or on a mountain trail or in a park.

Sit on the porch and watch the world go by with not a care in the world................

I love to sit on the couch, wrapped in a quilt with the window open and watch/listen to a heavy rain and just dream.

I actually have a very vivid fantasy about making love on a balcony, while a storm rages outside and the rain pours over our naked bodies as we merge as one. Primal sex.

lying by the edge of the pool reading my book in the tropical villas hotel in burawela, sri lanka . with the cold water lapping over the edge to cool me down , a long drink and my head resting on the shell of a KING coconut while the sunlight filters through the jasmine trees

Nice image.

However, I 'm about to sound like a Philistine...

What's a king coconut?

how about making snow angels and snow men, better yet watching your nephew make them for the first time. That was awesome.

Watching my fish swim round and round in my tanks.......I can sit there for hours and just watch em swim. They are mesmerizing.

I love hearing of the good people do.
The little things children do that open the eyes of adults. Like the "Golden box" email that Im sure many of you have seen.
I get goosebumps and chills down my spine when I hear of these.
This may not have made much sense. The only way to explain is when you feel your heart beating in your chest because you have seen, read, or experienced a mirical.

Also, watching nature, animals or children (when they don't notice me) makes me smile. So innocent and beautiful.

Now I'm sounding mushy.
I'm such a softy at heart, that I'm easily stimulated.

Ditto that White_Tigress.............I guess I am a softy too on the inside, the exterior of a meanie with the innards of the Stay Puff Marshmallow man (damn did I spell that right?!?!?!)

OK, dammitt!

If everybody elese is going to get mushy, than so am I!
I've had the following clipping on my bulletin board in my office for six or seven years, and it always makes me feel good when I'm pretty sure that the gene pool needs a better lifeguard:

What if three couples got together to celebrate 155 years of wedded bliss between them? My kids would call it a Kodak moment. I'd settle for a serious bottle of champagne.

Anyway, six longtime-weds gathered one evening in late September for a major celebration: 53 years, and two at 51 at a local VERY expensive restaurant.

Apparently, a young couple who happened to be sitting near the six celebrants couldn't help overhearing why the party of six was on hand.

The three couples capped off their evening with "sinfully rich" desserts. Looking around for te waiter, one of the men in the party noted that the young couple had been replaced by another, but really didn't think much of it. He should have.

When the waiter appeared, check in hand, he let loose with the classic line: "I have some good news and some bad news."

The six lovebirds asked for the good first. The waiter didn't hesitate. The young couple had picked up the total tab for the table, including what the waiter described as a "generous" tip: the tab easily came to in excess of $300 (remember, this was 7 years ago!)

The bad news: the couple made the waiter promise not to tell them until after they had departed.

WARNING: SOFT SIDE SHOWN

I love hearing small children laugh. The kind of laugh that shakes their little bodies all over. That infectous laugh that you can't help but smile about.

I love hearing and having people that I KNOW care for me tell me they love me. Makes you feel like all is right in the world.

I love hugs. Not the hugs that are gropes. The hugs that are nothing more then a cry out that the other person needs human contact or that they can sense that you need human contact.

I love the mid-fall weather here in NC when you sleep with the windown open snuggled warmly in a down comforter.

I love naps with children. Limbs strewn here and there. Children fall so deeply into naps you can't help but sleep soundly beside them.

The smell on a warm summer day of the flowers in the meadows by my house. Walking through them in the knee high weeds picking flowers as you go....

*sigh* I could go on and on....

I do you know...

I am also mushy. I love spending time with my niece, she is 9 & at the age where we are great friends. One of my new favorite past times is spending time with my friend & her daughters. Her girls are 3 & 7 & they don't have any family here. I get to be their adopted Aunt J. They are so much fun & seem to love having me around. I spent the last few Fridays with friends of my son. They have grown into such wonderful young people & I am so proud of them. When I see them, I feel that the world isn't such a bad place & the future isn't as bleak as many believe. Quiet evenings with my sweetie, just curled up on the couch, watching old movies.

Holding a new born baby...
Listening to a child laugh...
Seeing the happiness on the face of a senior citizen when you take the time to sit and listen to them...
Watching a puppy/kitten playing...
Sitting back, listening to good music and relaxing...
