Not that common no, I have never seen one in the wild.

No question is silly if you don`t know the answer.

I reserve the right to contradict myself, when replying on the How to boards.:D

Why is the meaning of life hard to find when you have a dictionary?

Well if you notice that that particular page had had a mishap of some kind it could make it extremely difficult to find.

If you're in a car travelling at the speed of light, what happens if you put on the headlights?

Now you nearly got me with this one, but after a little research, it would depend on where you were to wear the headlights.

Why do those signs say, "In Case of Fire, Do Not Use Elevator"? Why would you want to put a fire out with an elevator?

Many years ago when they started putting fire in cases there used to be a small elevator attached to the bottom of each case to facilitate easy removal of the aforementioned fire, unfortunately the elevators proved to be incredibly unsafe and their use was discontinued, however there are obviously quite a number of cases still in circulation that still carry this warning label

What is the speed of dark?

Approximately the time it takes you to get out of bed and walk into the wall when looking for a light switch.

Eastern quolls once occured on mainland Australia, with the last sighting occuring in the Sydney suburb of Vaucluse in the early 1960s. They are now considered extinct on the mainland, although some recent sightings in the New England region of northern New South Wales suggest that the species may still survive.

The species, fortunately, is widespread and locally common in Tasmania. It is found in a variety of habitats including rainforest, heathland, alpine areas and scrub. However, it seems to prefer dry grassland and forest mosaics which are bounded by agricultural land, particularly where pasture grubs are common.

The spotted-tailed quoll is also found on the east coast of mainland Australia, but is rare. Two subspecies have been descibed -- a smaller one (D. m. gracilis) is found in northern Queensland. D. m. maculatus occurs from southern Queensland to Tasmania. The spotted-tailed quoll is now threatened throughout its mainland range.

Spotted-tailed quolls are most common in cool temperate rainforest, wet sclerophyll forest and coastal scrub along the north and west coasts of the state.

Why are stop lights red, when your first instint when seeing red is to go get em or feeling might be associated with anger or frustration (i saw red).like a bull charging at the red blanket? and green is more associated with being mellow or layed back? (although the saying is green with envy) seems to me stop shoulda been the color green and go the color red...

edited to add; perhaps it was because people run so many red lights and they make money on the tickets...

I do admire the ability to pursue a question to a logical answer.

You have done a commendable job and I salute you.

Do you mind? (had to add a silly query somewhere in all of this)
:)

Do I mind, well yes I do, however I am quite particular about what I mind, I prefer minding small animals over small children, unless they are under 18 months (dey are just sooo cute), I will mind my own business, if I had my own business, mind you.

I don't mind, never have. That often gets me in trouble. I didn't mind when the sign said stay back from edge and leaned a bit far over, at which point I lost what little mind I had left. I didn't mind when mom told me no running with sissors, at which point I didn't sit for a week. I didn't even mind when they said stay away from Lit, at which point I started having more fun then them. All in all, not minding has shaped and molded me into who I am now.

Do you dance in the dark when your alone?

I have seen myself dance, if I was ever to dance alone it would have to be in the dark.

Of course if "dance" is a euphemism for something alse then I prefer to dance with the lights on.

Silly questions for the day:

1. Has anyone seen my brain?

2. When you find it, can you tell me where it goes when I need it?

3. Why does my mouth keep working when my brain is missing?

4. When my brain returns, how come my lower regions continue to control me?

5. Didn't I used to be taller?
