I am actually booked into a Pub/Hotel next to Ladybower reservoir in April! The Yorkshire Arms, I think it is called......

Cornwall the best place in the UK. Well we do have rain, drizzle, mists, mizzle and gales. However we also have great scenery. Ancient Neolithic Stone structures, great surf and sailing.
Oh I forgot to mention a lowbridge over the main road in and out of the place - last summer 3 trucks virtually isolated Cornwall on the Friday of a Holiday weekend.
But I love the place.

Sie, thanks for starting this poll, it's very interesting. I see that there are about 72% from the USA. What is the cause? Why so many from the USA, are we more frustrated? Or is the opposite true, that we're more open? Is our Puritan legacy finally behind us? What do you think?

It is the Yorkshire Arms. My partner and I often go there for dinner and the scenery in summer is absolutely fantastic!

Why so many Americans?
Well, I think its because the internet is more popular with people from the US. And the english language is very widely used across the US and Canada and therefore is the principal internet language up to now.
It must be very frustrating not to know english and surf the internet. I can imagine lots of other countries here are at a disadvantage and tend to stay with there own national sites.

Well, its pretty obvious -- Georiga -- but I have lived all over. Spent time in California, Texas, Florida and Maryland and have visited the majority of the states. I have to admit though, its good to be back home, out in the country.
