I've talked to a few you all about them and thought I'd share the following pics.
I've had Maggie for approximately 14yrs and adopted her when she was 9 mos.
Alice has been with me for about 13 yrs and joined the family when she was approximately 1 1/2yrs old.
Ellie is 7 mos old and has been with me for about a month. She's blind but you'd never know it at first glance.
Notice the splotch on her flank looks like Mickey.

They are both refuge rescued cats and I am sure have put the memory of such a place in the recesses of their minds, but still remember the abuse they have endured in their lives, especially Zora who still shows daily signs of her memory of the trauma and fear.
