I would think the phrases uncompromised beauty and f****n gorgeous spoke for themselves as to his intentions but we all read what we see here differently I guess

Benefit of the doubt needed I suspect then. From what I've seen there is beauty everywhere I look in this conversation, none of it "put on".

This is how I took it also.. You've put yourself on display (which isn't bad) and the rest should have spoken for the compliment.
My Brit friend did say that "put on" can be taken differently there. So I think we have to chalk this up as language barrier.
Fucking gorgeous is definitely a compliment.
