I always feel at a disadvantage with pictures because I don't understand the mechanics of makeup, so I never wear any. I keep saying that one of these days I'll figure it out, but as always I'm a professional procrastinator.

Since the topic of filters came up, let me say this.. yes, this photo has a filter on it. Yes, I did pose/angle the camera in a way to accentuate certain things and hide ones I don’t like. No, this is NOT healthy and I have MAJOR self esteem and confidence issues when it comes to what I see when I look at an unfiltered photo of myself.
I have so much respect and awe for women who are confident in themselves just as they are, I envy you and wish I could do the same thing, you are all so beautiful in my eyes, and I wish I had just as much love for my own tired face
But until that day comes, I feel more confident and playful and more like the me I wish I could be in the

Somewhere in the back of my brain I know that’s true, but on the flip side my anxiety says “You’ve posted the filtered version for so long, no one will think you’re pretty without it “
